COVID-19 UPDATES IN RELATION TO OUR CAMPGROUND
As the novel form of coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) becomes more of a widespread concern and local governments continue to recommend or mandate restrictions on person-to-person interactions, business operations , and home isolation, we want to share important information with you about our efforts to help keep our family and guests safe and healthy.
UPDATE: July 1, 2020
To help "Keep Maine Healthy," guests traveling into Maine are required to complete and sign a "Keep Maine Healthy Certificate of Compliance for Maine Visitors (pdf)" prior to their stay.
Guests under the age of 18, or residents of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York are exempt from the 14-day quarantine requirement or negative COVID-19 testing alternative and are NOT required to complete and sign the Certificate of Compliance.
Governor Mills continues to strongly recommend that visitors from these states obtain a test before visiting Maine, in order to "Know Before You Go". Visitors can find COVID-19 testing sites near them via the website https://www.maine.gov/covid19/restartingmaine/keepmainehealthy/testing
UPDATE: June 12, 2020
To help "Keep Maine Healthy," guests are required to complete and sign a "Keep Maine Healthy Certificate of Compliance for Maine Visitors (pdf)" prior to their stay. This initiative promotes the safety of Maine residents and visitors coming to enjoy all Maine has to offer. Guests under the age of 18, or residents of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, are not required to complete and sign the Certificate of Compliance.
UPDATE: June 9, 2020
Beginning June 12, 2020, NH and VT residents may visit Maine with no restrictions. The 14-day quarantine executive order will no longer be required of visitors from NH and VT.
Effective July 1, visitors from other states (MA, RI, NY, NJ, etc.) have the option to:
1.) Obtain a negative COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to your visit. Negative test results will permit guests to visit without quarantining. Individuals may be tested upon arrival in Maine, but they must quarantine while awaiting test results. Testing for children, 18 years or younger, is not required. Find a nearby COVID test center here: https://www.maine.gov/covid19/restartingmaine/keepmainehealthy/testing.
2.) Maintain compliance with 14-day quarantine (or entire stay if shorter) as an option for those who do not/or cannot provide a negative test.
Visitors who are quarantining during their stay in Maine must comply with Maine’s quarantine requirements and may not visit Maine restaurants, businesses, and crowded public spaces and may not use shared facilities and dining rooms.
A Certificate of Compliance form MUST be completed and signed by ALL GUESTS (ME, NH & VT residents are exempt) stating that they have received a negative COVID-19 test result, have already quarantined in Maine, or will quarantine in Maine for 14 days. This form MUST be provided prior to, or upon check-in. Visitors must also submit verification that they are not currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

UPDATE: May 9, 2020
For guests traveling to us during the months of May and June, we thank you whole-heartedly for your patience. Most of you have chosen to wait out your reservations with us as we hang onto hope together.
This week we were hopeful to hear some promising news regarding our campground opening. Unfortunately, the weekly update from the Governor and the Commissioner of the State did not bring the news we were hoping for and our wait continues as your reservations near. We want you to know we are not sitting idle and continue to fight for our rights of opening safely for our guests, and ourselves. The Maine Campground Association has presented a second draft to the administration regarding how, and what, campgrounds are able to do for a successful and safe opening. The draft is currently in review and we are awaiting the results.
It is unfortunate that we are unable to provide you with concrete answers today, and understand you may want to make other travel plans as your reservation date quickly nears. Regardless of your decision to cancel or hold on in hopes of better news these next few days, please rest assured knowing you will receive a full credit to be used at a later date or refund, less 3% processing fee for credit cards, should you wish to cancel at this time. Credit's in your name may be applied towards reservations of the 2020 or 2021 season.
May we add once again, your support, loyalty and patience during these unprecadent times is appreciated beyond measures. Please do not hesitate to email or phone us should you need questions answered immediately. We will do our best to provide you with answers or added reassurance when it may be needed.
As always, we wish you our best. Stay safe. Stay well.
