We take pride in offering guests of all ages a quiet, clean, and safe environment with 80 spacious campsites, comfortably shaded beneath Maine's majestic forest canopy. Since its conception, Lazy Frog has grown into a beloved "go-to" campground for families. We strike a thoughtful balance between fun, themed weekend activities and unhurried time spent together—creating lasting memories around campfires and under the trees. Our philosophy of camping is rooted in years of family experiences: slowing down, unwinding, and enjoying the simple pleasures of time well spent together.
Situated on 16 peaceful acres and conveniently located off Route 202 between Sanford, Maine and Rochester, New Hampshire, Lazy Frog Campground offers easy access to adventure and relaxation alike. We're just 30 minutes from the stunning Maine seacoast, close to several nearby lakes, and a little over an hour from New Hampshire's White Mountains—making Lazy Frog the perfect home base to escape the daily routine… or at least frog-get it for a while.

"We've stayed here a few times and what keeps bringing us back is how friendly everyone is, including all of the seasonals. Peggy and John are terrific, and have been making great improvements to the campground. It's always very clean, and the sites are clean and level. The seasonal sites don't have all of the chachkies that you usually see at other campgrounds, and are all well maintained. There aren't as many activities as some other campgrounds, but we like touring around the area and use it as a getaway for a more low-key weekend, so it's perfect for us."

"This campground is in my top three places to have camped at. We started in Cali and have stayed in a lot of campgrounds. So, what do I consider important, electric, water, sewer are at the top of my list, right after friendly hospitality. Everyone needs the buck, but spend a moment and talk with people. John and Peggy were sweet hearts <3. They spend some quality time talking, and I felt like I had known them for years. They have a nice pool, really nice fire pits, the sites are enormous, lots of shade, not too far from town. If you're in the area, check them out and tell 'em Chuckie Lee sent you."
